Maceo Brown’s non-profit organization, Maceo’s Kids, is looking for young people who wish to be part of its 2014 program. In order to be considered, applicants must be between 18 and 24 years of age.

The purpose of Maceo’s Kids is to teach the types of skills young people will need to succeed in today’s workplace. This years program will involve the formation of a landscaping business. Each of the program participants will be given a specific job description selected for them based upon the student’s abilities and preferences.

After two years, program participants who excel in the performance of their duties will be offered partial ownership of the landscaping business.

Applicants who wish to participate in the 2014 Maceo’s Kids program must sign a consent form allowing Maceo’s Kids the right to record them on video. A reality show about the program may be in the works!

For more information or to register online, visit MaceosKids.org. Time is growing short to register for our 2014 program, so it is strongly recommended that those who wish to participate register promptly.
