March 29, 2012 – The Georgia Minority Business Awards honored Maceo A. Brown and other minority business leaders at “The Year of the Entrepreneur” hosted by The Atlanta Business Journal.
Mr. Brown was the the recipient of The GMBA Heritage Award, presented to a large business that has been a proven leader within its industry with annual revenue exceeding $10 million. The winner of the Heritage Award represents the finest new leaders of tomorrow who have a vision for change.
The 2012 GMBA unites some of the most successful minority entrepreneurs and business professionals in the state of Georgia. The 2012 GMBA aims to heighten the presence of minority businesses that set high standards of professionalism, integrity, and work leadership, commitment to industries and professional growth and charity in their communities.
According to Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, this year’s event, “The Year of The Entrepreneur,” gives minority entrepreneurs and businesses an opportunity to strengthen their relationships and enhance the communication methods among businesses throughout Georgia.
